At the end of the semi-final of the 5th Jacques Lancelot International Clarinet Competition that took place on October 21 and 22, 2021 at the Chapelle Corneille of Rouen, the three following candidates were selected to participate to the final:

- Julien Chun-Yen Lai
- Hector Noriega
- Luz Sedeño

This final will take place on October 23, 2021, at the Chapelle Corneille of Rouen at 6:00 p.m. The three finalists will be accompanied by the Orchestre de l'Opéra de Rouen Normandie conducted by Jean-François Verdier.
